BJ Moylan
Born in November 1963, I was raised on the streets on Baltimore. It was not until the age of six that we moved out of the city and into the county. We lived in a two bedroom apartment in Baltimore County in a town called Carney.
It was on a Friday night, I was about ten years old, and being asked by my step father to go to bed early this one night (around 7 pm). As I lay in bed with the sun going down and almost to the point you can only see the shadows on the curtains, I noticed in the doorway on my room, five faces going around in a circle from right to left in a counter clockwise motion.
I did not tell anyone about this, it is only a personal experience. We moved out of that apartment a few months after this incident, not because of my experience, and into an apartment in Perry Hall Md. This is where I saw a lady standing at the foot of my bed late one night. The next morning I told my mother what had happened, she found it hard to believe. She went to her bedroom and got a shoe box of pictures and scattered them on the dining room table.
As I looked through the pictures on the table, my mother stopped me and asked, what did this lady look like last night. I started to describe this lady at the foot of my bed, she was an older lady I would say in her late seventies to eighties, she had a dark blue dress on with lace around the top and bottom of the dress. She stood at the end of my bed for what seemed to be a life time but in fact, it was only for about 15 seconds.
My mother listened to everything I said, she picked up a photo from the dining room table and asked if this was the woman in my room? Not only was this the photo of the lady in my room, the woman in the photo had on the same dress that I had seen her in the night before.
My mother told me this woman in the photo was her great grandmother. I had never meet this women before, as she had passed on long before I was born.
Many years later around the age of 35 or 36, I bought a house after separating from my girlfriend. I lived in this house from early 2001 to late 2004. In this house I encountered more than one experience. There was a lady in a white dress that just seemed to float from the hallway into the kitchen and vanish through the wall.
I was not the only one that experienced this in my house. My girlfriend at this time had experienced this also, but did not want to say anything because this was a new relationship. I told her about what I had experienced one night and thats when she told me she had seen a lady in a white dress float from the hallway into the kitchen and vanish through the wall also. Knowing that we had both experienced the same thing, I'm sure it had to be residual. The other unexplainable situation is, that my dog would continually run to the same area in the house and growl and bark at apparently something only he could see. |

I am a graphic artist, web designer, 60 year-old father of 6, and a photographer, but my passion the last two years has been EVP. I’ve been fortunate enough to capture quite a few of them and they never cease to amaze me. Unfortunately, I’ve only had a couple of experiences, and so far nothing on film or video. But the paranormal is the next great frontier, I think, so I need to learn as much as I can. Its such an open field and there are so many questions left unanswered. Finding those answers depends on finding one truth at a time – that’s what its really all about for me. I “like” the idea of letting my imagination go wild when I hear an EVP or view a great video, but I “love” the whole process of determining actual explanations. So, I am excited about all the possibilities, but I believe in evidence.
Because of my fascination with EVP, I’ve come to know that there is so much more to life and death than we realize. All we have to do is open our minds to recognize how much discovery there is ahead of us in this paranormal universe. EVP has taught me that this field of study is of tremendous value to all of us, and I love being just a small part of it. |

I live in Towson, MD and work as a secretary for a Catholic religious order. I’ve been blessed to have several paranormal experiences. I use the word blessed because my experiences have always been very loving and positive. I have very distinctly heard my name called when no one else was around. Sometimes I am touched. On more than one occasion I’ve sat in the chapel at work and felt a tangible hand tap my shoulder only to turn around and find no one there (and frequently no other person in the chapel at all). This has also happened to me at home. A particular incident occurred about a year ago. I was in bed asleep with one hand resting on top of my pillow. I became aware of someone else’s hand holding mine within theirs. Coming awake (and still feeling the other hand) I assumed it was my husband. But when I opened my eyes he was sound asleep with his back turned to me. I lay there for a minute and savored the touch until it abruptly disappeared.
I’ve also had the dreams that are “more than a dream.” This is hard to explain to someone who’s never experienced them, but they are much, much more vivid than a typical dream and the details remain very clear after waking. I’ve always thought of them as “visits” from loved ones who have crossed over. During the dream/experience you can actually touch and feel the substance of the person, even the texture of any fabric they’re wearing is unmistakable. Scents and smells are also very prominent and unique to the person you knew in this life.
I’ve always believed there is a thin veil between this world and the afterlife. With advances in technology and increased acceptance of alternative theories, I believe that veil is growing thinner. |

Hey there! My name is Rob. Let me tell you a little about myself. What brought me to PHPRS is to help me find answers that I have always been seeking since I was a kid with the experiences I had in my Grandfathers house. I have a passion for horses, especially the English riding style. I adopted a local horse named Jettie and enjoy taking care of her. Football is my favorite sport and my team is the Greenbay packers. Also, I love to travel. I've camped a great deal in and around Gettysburg and have spent a week camping in New Hampshire. I hope to one day travel to Europe especially to Germany or Ireland. Currently, I am attending college and majoring in mass communications and minor in Equine Sicence.

Hello, let me start off by saying I am not a fan of the word "ghost" because of that first image people get in their mind's eye. I believe we all have a spirit and sometimes that spirit, or parts of it, may be left behind when we pass.
I'm relatively new to the Baltimore area and the newest member of the PHPRS team. I grew up and lived for 30 years in Massachusetts just south of Boston before moving to Baltimore two years ago. I have independently investigated hundreds of sites around New England including the site of my father's death, since I was 10. I enter each investigation with a strong degree of skepticism, looking for ways to debunk claims until no further explanation is available other than supernatural or paranormal. I believe in a systematic scientific approach to investigating the paranormal, but understand that sometimes it's just simple dumb luck and perseverance that reveals the evidence necessary to prove or debunk a case.
Types of investigations: I have experience with Accident, Murder and Crash Sites, Funeral Homes, Revolutionary and Civil War Battle Sites, WWI and WWII Ship Yards, Military Installations, Decommissioned Military Ships, Houses of Worship, Private Residences and Sites of Folk and Indian Lore.
I look forward to working with you, our client, to resolve your issues and help you find a way to better cohabitate with the spirits amongst us. |

I’ve really only had a couple of personal experiences that I consider Paranormal though this area interests me greatly. The experience which stands out the most happened when I was about 6 years old while staying at my Grandmothers house in Florida , The long and short of it is that I had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night so I got out of bed and walked to the restroom, when I finished I turned the light out and started back down the hall but this time as I approached the corner of the hallway near my aunts room I saw a young boy standing there clear as day and appearing to brighten the area which was normally very dark and to this day I remember his buzz hair cut , yellow tank top and shorts , I was just six so this caught me by surprise even though I don’t believe any one was outwardly trying to scare me, My mother heard me scream and of course found me in the hall pretty shook up. I only recently told her what I thought I saw and oddly she has admitted to seeing the exact same thing briefly before turning on the lights when she found me. I’ve been interested in paranormal research ever since. |
