Contacted by the “SPIRIT GALS” of Baltimore, Md, I had the privilege of being invited to an on going investigation of a small downtown bar.

It was told to me that there were a few things going on that warranted a second investigation.

I met up with the Spirit Gals at 12:30am Sunday. We talked to a few people that worked at the bar to see if they had any experiences inside the bar. There was a gentleman that worked at the bar as a bar back. He said he has seen dark figures in the basement on many occasions. He said that he has seen shadow people from time to time in the basement that appeared to be little shadow people peeking around the doors from small rooms that are in the basement.

The investigation started with unloading our equipment around 1:30am and setting up in the basement until the bar closed for the night. We set up two cameras in the basement one at either end facing each other but far enough apart that they didn’t interfere with each other. We set up one camera on the first floor over looking the bar area.

The bar owns a small check cashing and convenience store that is attached to the bar at the far end. We set up a video camera on a tri-pod over looking the complete area.

We start the investigation in the basement taking pictures for about 20 minutes or so and then would head upstairs to take a few pictures there for about 20 minutes. After taking pictures we started doing evp’s. The first evp session started in the basement and eventually moved upstairs for more evp’s. We spilt into two teams at first, boy girl boy girl. After taking pictures and doing evp’s in the basement we moved upstairs to do an evp session sitting around the table taking turns asking questions. All of our recorders were sitting inches away from each other on the same table.

After reviewing all the evidence collected this night, I can not say this place is haunted but, I can say that in looking over a few of the pictures I have, it is my belief that the little downtown bar warrants another investigation to try to gather more data to back up some of the things we were told before the investigation started.

First investigation at the bar. Starting time at 1 AM...Date 10/01/08 Ending investigaton at 4 AM . There was three of us...Me, Sissy and Drew. I did feel something or somone there! going down in the basement right by the stairs and the Ladies room. I had chills and a feeling of someone with me? We took pictures and EVP, some video! At the time we did an EVP session in the basement. I was looking down the left isle. I saw a shadow standing there and it took off from the left side to the right! Seconds later Sissy told me she saw the same thing! The pictures that Sissy snapped in a row shows a shadow blocking the doorway to another room! Also, a picture shows a black mass near where I felt somone there near the ladies room. Our temperature gage went from about 70 degrees down to 52, 53 degrees when we saw the shadow. So, that was an interesting night! Sissy and I also took some information from the people that worked there and had experiences and we recorded them earlier that night. 

Second investigation at Bar. Date 10/19/08, starting time setting up 1:30 AM, Ending investigation 5 AM. Four of us went to this one. Me, Sissy, BJ and Drew. We let BJ take the lead and do what he normally does on his investigations to make things flow so it wasnt confusing. Also we like to learn from others of how they do things, so this really worked very well! Started with EVP sessions paired off at different ends of the building in the basement. Me and BJ took the side where the Ladies room is. I felt that cold and feeling of someone there like at the last investigation. BJ's hair on his arms were standing on end. We switched after about 15 or 20 minutes with Sissy and Drew. Went to the back of the basement. BJ asked me if I freak out easily. Of course he was freaking me out by asking that question...LOL! He told me to stay still. He was seeing a black figure behind me everytime Sissy and Drews flashes on their cameras went off. As unconfortable as I was getting and just wanted to get out of there. I stayed and that was a very good experience for me to go through. the shadow was gone and we went on with the EVP session and taking pictures. Went upstairs to the Bar area. We all did an EVP session there together. Mickey who works there was with us, but didnt do the session. I heard the bottles clanging together behind the bar, very faintly. Mickey heard this too! Went back down in the basement and split up. We all did our own EVP session. This was interesting for me...I have never done anything alone on investigations, so it was different! While I was taking pictures and EVP. Drews was at the other side of the basement from me and he yelled for me to take a picture! I thought that he wanted me to take one his way, but he yelled again after I did that to take one behind me. Well now...again something was behind me??? Drew said he saw a white shadow right behind me, but as I turned he said that it took off toward my right!! Needless to say I didnt see this, but still interesting. The pictures that we took. I had an orb in motion in the bar area and what looks like a woman apparition near BJ in the area by the ladies room that I felt something at. Sissy got some strange pics too?? Do I feel this place is haunted?? My own opinion from the feelings I got and the events that happened. I think there is a chance it is!! Need to go back and hopefully get something concrete. I thank BJ for going with us and giving his open opinions on how he does things too. We learned some old and new things! Thanks BJ : )

Drew's Discoveries

This was my second investigation with the Spirit Gals and my first with BJ.  I was at the bar about 4 weeks ago with the Spirit Gals.  That investigation was ok, but this was more active. I had a few interesting photos and one or two EVPS from the bar.  I had an experience, but not sure what to make of it as the video or pictures did not show it. The evidence does not back up the stories we heard from the owner and employees.  I am looking forward to another investigation of the downtown bar to see if we can discover that evidence.

The first night of our investigation was a corner bar in Greek town. It was a Wednesday night October 1st 2008. The investigation started around1am. Before getting under way, we started asking a few questions to employees to see if they had experienced anything in the bar. After the interview was over, Kathy, Drew and I went on to take several pictures.

When the bar closed for the night, we started our evp session. When doing our EVP session we did hear a few strange noises. Kathy and I did say after the evp session that we both seen a black shadow moving in the back left hand side of the basement which I do feel I captured in several photos.

The second investigation was on October 19th 2008. We all met up at 12:00 am Sunday morning. Again we talked with a few employees that worked at the bar. They did experience seeing shadows and hearing strange noises and footsteps.

 It was reported that beer bottles would fall off the bar for no reason. We started setting up around 1:30 AM in the basement of the bar. We started out taking pictures in the basement. Kathy and BJ paired up, and drew and I paired up. We all took pictures for about 20 minutes and then started doing an evp session.

After taking pictures and doing evp’s in the basement, we moved to the upstairs to take pictures and do an evp session. This evp session was with all four investigators. After finishing our evp session on the first floor we moved to the basement to do evp’s alone in different places on the basement. The basement is long but narrow and even though we were alone we were still very close to one another in case we were needed.

 I did hear a crackling noise at one point, I asked if anyone was around to please do that again and they did. BJ, in the room next to me did not hear what I was hearing at that time, however he did hear a loud bang and came into my room ask what the bang was?

 I myself did not hear the bang at that point, but after reviewing our evidence the bang would prove to be on my recorder as well as BJ’s. I did get several photos from this night that I was very happy with. Can I say this place is haunted, not really but would I love to keep looking into this investigation a few more times, I’m just not ready to make that call?
