BJ's Discoveries

This investigation was a little different from most that we do.  We had a few non PHPRS members here to help us a little. From the very beginning we learned that this house had some really bad and strange things going on.  It was told to us that people were being touched and things were moving around and doors were being slammed.

There were shadows moving about in the home and, it was not just inside but outside as well.  We set up four cameras outside and three cameras inside in hopes that if there was anything in this house we could catch it even if it was outside.  It started to rain about an hour into the investigation but we had water proof cameras out there. The rain only lasted about 10 mins.

We started off by just sitting around the house and outside for about 20 mins. We all took pictures and just listened to see if we could hear anything. After this time we took a small break and got back to work doing EVP's and taking more pictures.  We do this most of the night but switch places so everyone gets a chance to investigate each place in the house.

After the night was over and I got some sleep I started going over my pictures and got nothing, I got nothing on video either.  I went over everything more than once to make sure I did not miss anything the first time and still nothing.  This is not to say there is nothing at this house, it just means I did not get anything this time. We always know that ghosts and or spirits do not appear on command.

Bucky's Discoveries

We started of the Investigation of the Linthicum House with 7 Investigators as well as the client all in the house, in retrospect I believe this investigation could have been covered with less people, any way once all 7 investigators were present we caravaned to the site and set up for the Investigation. Set and ready we performed the prayer and got our initial assignments from Bj of PHPRS ,Cora of PHPRS and myself  were assigned the 2nd floor bedroom to do a silent EVP session and take photographs of this session my photographs and recording have unfortunately revealed nothing. Next I paired with BJ briefly for EVP session in the downstairs bedroom also taking Photographs and this once again revealed no paranormal evidence. I attempted 2 more EVP sessions but got nothing but bleed over from other Investigators, I did observe Rie from another paranormal group using Divining Rods to ask questions with BJ of PHPRS and they appeared to get some responses to the questions, now while they were asking the questions please know I was taking Photographs of them and the surroundings but again these digital Photograph's haven't revealed anything, I will check with the other Investigators present and see what there evidence has turned up. All in all it was an uneventful Investigation on my part but I will say this as with anything you really can not make an entity show itself all you can do is provoke to some degree and request. That being said I personally didn't have any experiences nor felt anything out of the ordinary. I would like to thank the Client who truly do to the amount of people we had involved in the Investigation made a large effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Cora's Discoveries

When we got to the house, it was still light outside. The owner took us on a tour of the house, telling us what she's experienced in each area.  Afterwards, we proceeded to unload the cars and set up equipment. Cameras inside and out, and 2 DVR's.  Bucky and I paired off when everything was set up and started in the bedroom upstairs.  We started with a silent evp session first, not asking questions, just snapping pictures and running the digital recorders. Then we returned downstairs.  It started to rain and we had to move the DVR outside into the shed.  Jose, Jim and I did an evp session in the master bedroom. We then gathered in the living room where a friend of Jim's from another group was using diving rods.  It was interesting to watch how she asked questions, and zeroed in on dates and periods of time as the rods crossed.  While there I experienced nothing, felt nothing, and heard nothing.  After reviewing my pictures, I had captured only 2 orbs in the house.Nothing special about them.  I did catch several in the shots outside, but it had rained earlier, so make of it what you wish. The only pictures of interest were the shots taken upstairs in the bedroom. Several shots included the tv in the room, and what looked to be possible faces on the screen. Were they faces? Probably not, but they were interesting shots nontheless.

Jose's Discoveries

When I first entered the Patapsco Road home I could sense three entities in the living room. One adult male, and two children, male and female. The home also had a charged feeling to it. But as the investigation went along, the feelings and entities became more distant, and eventually disappeared. By the time that the team packed up and we were on our way, I couldn't feel anything threatening in the home or on the property.

Rie's Discoveries

Upon arriving at the residence, which was built in 1945,  I interviewed the homeowner who reported a variety of paranormal phenomena.  Lights flickering, the attic door shaking, and seeing a female apparition at the foot of the bed are just a few of things she had experienced. She described the female as having a huge mouth, big teeth, and black, sunken lines in her face.  Furthermore, she said she was grey with a long grey cloak.  Although she did not feel terrified, she did feel like she needed to protect her son.  Once she enveloped her son in her arms, the apparition darted away.  She also reported having medium-like tendencies and on more than one occasion having premonition dreams.  The family dog has refused to sleep in the living room and she also heard a man's voice say "Hey!" very loudly, which her son heard as well.

Jose picked up on a male presence in the house and when I used my dowsing rods, the answers to my questions led to the belief that there was a young girl that resides in the attic, which had been converted into a bedroom.  While doing quiet time in one of the first floor bedrooms, I saw some odd shadows, but did not experience much.  Upon reviewing my audio recordings, I did pick up a couple of EVPs, including a voice saying "Right Here" and an odd breath sound.  When I ventured into the attic bedroom after dowing, BJ followed.  We asked for knocks on the wall as a sign of someone being presence, which we did get and were caught on the audio recordings.  After about 20 or 30 minutes, BJ left and Cora sat upstairs with me.  In the pictures I took at this time, there is an image of a woman on the screen of the television set, which I later determined to be Cora's reflection.  After sitting on the edge of the bed for awhi le, I laid back crosswise on it.  Shortly thereafter, it felt as something rolled from my midchest to my waist.  Instinctively, I went to grab "it", realizing only afterwards that I had not placed a flashlight or anything else on me that might have done this.  I reached around on the bed and floor to see if I could find what had rolled down me, but located nothing.  Upon reviewing the audio recording, right before I said what I felt, there was a loud noise that was not audible at the time.

After Cora and I finished in the attic, we ventured downstairs into the living room and I joined in the investigation there.  As the night was nearing an end, the homeowner and I were in casual conversation.  Once I reviewed my audio, during this time I caught an odd whistle sound shortly after I asked a provoking question and during my casual conversation, there is an "uh oh" heard over my voice that cannot be explained.  Taking in account my personal experience and the evidence I recorded, I'd be willing to say that there seems to be some sort of paranormal activity in the home, but cannot say confidently that I feel it is haunted.  I think an additional investigation would be justified in making that determination.  It was a great investigation.  The homeowner was very hospitable and I enjoyed the opportunity to work with the members of PHPRS.

Mike's Discoveries

After being invited to participate on this investigation, I was glad to do it. I began by setting up a four channel DVR and four infrared cameras, three outside and one inside.

I was able to set a mini dv with infrared up in the attic. I got nothing on the mini dv. At first I did get an impression of something in the home, but towards the end of the evening it seemed the feeling was all but gone.  If there was anything in the home, it liked being alone. Big Jim and I did an EVP session in the basement. Turning off all the lights we groped around in the dark. Then we decided to attempt to provoke, but got nothing.  After all is said and done whatever may or not be there, it didn't feel threating to me. Just someone that didn't want to be alone or yelled at.

All in all it was a good night to meet everyone.  Everyone was very professional and worked off of and with everyone.

The Investigation

After recieving a phone call from the resident, an interview was conducted. Details were of an apparition seen in the youngest son's room, another entity was seen in the hallway on the first floor, various noises during day and night, and physical contact upon the residents.

The investigation consisted of members from three paranormal investigative teams. Perry Hall Paranormal Research Society, Maryland Paranormal Research Team, and Eastern Paranormal Research.

For PHPRS, the team consisted of: Lead Investigator:  B.J. Moylan; Investigators:  Bucky Martin, Jose Rivera, Cora Linzey, and Jim Jones.

For MPRT: Investigator: Michael Shongo.

For EPR: Investigator: Rie Sadler.

At approximately 0730 hours, the team assembled outside the residence for prayer. The equipment was set in strategic locations within the residence. Cameras were placed in the living room, the second floor bedroom, the rear bedroom, and the hallway. MPRT Investigator Shongo placed cameras in the rear of the location where light anomalies were seen by the residents. MPRT's equipment were set up outside watching the rear of the home, and the wooded area.

Quiet time commenced to gather any EVPs that might be available. Photos were taken, without any noticeable anomalies, or objects. As the investigaton continued, the resident joined Investigators Moylan and Sadler to advise of current activity seen during the week. Investigator Sadler began a session with divining rods to attempt to interact with any possible entities. On several occasions during the session, positive contact was made using such metaphysical tools. Although the areas had no significant EMF readings, nor strong temerature changes, the divining rods at least provided possible revealing of a child entity.

Investigators Sadler and Moylan went to the second floor bedroom. While the team observed the IR cameras, nothing was seen. Investigators Jones, Linzey, and Rivera, conducted an EVP session in rear bedroom. Some provoking was attempted after no resonses were given.

There was a thunderstorm that caused the teams to move the outdoor monitor station into a protected shed location. Investigator Shongo joined Investigators Jones and Sadler in living room area with resident. Several attempts of contact were made, including some provoking with no results. Investigators Linzey, Moylan and Martin went into youngest son's bedroom. No noticeable results were noted, nor detected.

Investigators Jones and Shongo went into the basement for EVP session. Questions were asked, and without any noticeable results, provoking commenced. Although there was no noticible activity recorded, no other odd, or peculiar feelings were noted.

Last EVP session was conducted with Investigators Jones, Rivera, and Shongo in the second floor bedroom. Numerous questions were asked, and no noticible responses were heard. All equipment was disassembled, and post investigative prayers were given.

Upon further review of evidence collected in photos, audio, and video, no known paranormal activity was observed. Unless a second investigation is made, it is unclear if any detectable activity, paranormal or otherwise, can be noted.
